Sali•Chek™ Roadside Drug Testing System
The Sali•Chek™ On Site Drug Testing System offers opportunities for immediate drug testing at the roadside, in schools, in the criminal justice system and other situations where immediate results are required.
The complete system incorporates the Oasis Diagnostics® novel split sample saliva / oral fluid collection and testing system, VerOFy® II DOA, which simultaneously tests for six drugs of abuse including the NIDA-5 series of drugs: THC, Cocaine, Methamphetamine, Amphetamine, Opiates and Phencyclidine (PCP).
After saliva has been collected and the tests run, the VerOFy® II DOA device is placed in a proprietary electronic reading system, Sali•Chek™, which incorporates a Pocket-PC with photographic detection and independent data storage capacity. The reader records a digital image of the lines displayed on the test strip and a small printer sold as an optional extra, provides a means for hard copy results to be available immediately. Sali•Chek™ comes with an electrical adapter but may run using onboard battery power. Together, the combination of the VerOFy® II DOA and Sali•Chek™ technologies represents an innovative solution for most point-of-care drug testing situations. Other customized tests may be read using the Sali•Chek™ trademark technology.
